How to secure your LG Optimus Me smartphone with Pattern Lock

We show you how to increase the security of your LG Optimus Me smartphone by setting a screen unlock pattern

The LG Optimus Me Android phone comes with an innovative Pattern Lock feature to secure your handset content and data.

Once set, in order to unlock your screen, you’ll have to draw the correct unlock pattern. You can set your screen unlock pattern as follows:

• Press HOME, then tap the application tab to select Settings.


• Select Location & security, then scroll down to the Screen unlock section.


• Follow the screens to be guided through drawing a screen unlock pattern.


• Select next to continue to next screen
  

Follow the prompts to define your pattern. Note: you must slide your finger along the screen to create the pattern, not select individual dots. Connect at least four dots.

If you forget the unlock pattern, PIN or password

if you have created a google account on the phone, tap the forgot pattern button.

• Then you sign in with your google account to unlock your phone.
  

• In case you haven't created a google account or you don't remember the logins you will need to perform a hard reset. A hard reset will set your phone back to the factory settings, undoing any customisations done so far.
